Guess a Game uses cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage. Essential storage keeps requested features working; preference storage remembers choices; optional analytics is used only after analytics is accepted.

Essential And Preference Storage

• Supabase authentication storage: keeps signed-in sessions secure; duration follows the session and authentication configuration.
• usa-2026-locale: remembers the selected language for one year.
• guessagame_ref and guessagame_ref_session: attribute an outreach visit for 30 days.
• world-cup-2026-predictions and world-cup-2026-knockout-team-source: keep guest tournament picks and bracket choices until browser storage is cleared.
• guessagame-season-predictions-[competition]: keeps guest league score predictions until browser storage is cleared or they are synced after sign-in.
• guessagame-season-table-prediction-[competition]: keeps a guest's table order until browser storage is cleared or the prediction is saved.
• guessagame-analytics-consent-v3: records the analytics and advertising choice and policy version until it is changed, cleared, or replaced.
• Google Analytics cookies, including _ga and property-specific _ga identifiers: used only after analytics is accepted; duration follows the configured Google Analytics retention settings.
• Google advertising-measurement cookies, such as _gcl identifiers: set only after analytics and advertising is accepted and you arrive from a Google ad; used to attribute visits and sign-ups to our ads.

Optional Analytics And Advertising Measurement

Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights load only after analytics is accepted. They help measure page use, interactions, approximate location, device information and performance. Accepting also enables Google advertising measurement, which we use to attribute visits and sign-ups to our Google Ads campaigns.

Rejecting analytics does not affect account access, predictions, leaderboards or mini-leagues.

Managing Your Choice

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting after a previous acceptance reloads the page to stop optional analytics. Browser controls can also clear cookies and storage, but clearing essential or guest storage may sign a user out or remove unsynced predictions.

Changes

We may update this inventory when providers or purposes change. We will request a fresh choice before making a material change that requires consent.
